Our group has selected the Premature Baby unit at Hillingdon Hospital as it’s nominated “charity” for this programme. Our meeting on 12th November will be bringing together the hats that have already been knitted with some knitted teddies that have been donated and putting them into hand made Christmas gift bags that we’ll be sewing that afternoon. Patterns will also be available to knit some bootees for when the babies grow a little.
Come along for a very sociable afternoon and help bring a smile to the families who’ll be nursing some very tiny but special babies of their own this Christmas time.
Well we have now packed 15 gift bags for the same number of cots for premature babies at Hillingdon Hospital. Slightly down on attendance this month but no lack of enthusiasm as the attached photos show!
