There will also be special activities for children in the library with Santa Claus in attendance. See Oasis notice board for more details.

There is a vacancy for an experienced Pastoral Worker, who will work with the Tri-service Chaplaincy Team in the support of PJHQ Northwood. Applicants should have: experience of pastoral ministry settings; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a passion for people and sympathy with the ethos of Forces Chaplaincy and the Methodist Church. The closing date for applications is 6 December 2013 (12 noon) and interviews will be held at Methodist Church House on 19 December 2013.

At our gift service on 8th Dec we will be supporting Hillingdon Refugee Support Group. They are in need of warm clothing for both males and females aged 16-21; ie, glove and scarf sets, scarves, hats, snoods etc. They would be very valuable as many of the young people who are new in the country do not have these items. Thank you.

Holy Trinity will be leading the annual carol singing get together in Costa Northwood “Carols @ Costa” on Monday 9th December 6 pm – 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

The Church friends Christmas tea is on Sat 14th Dec. A sign up sheet for donations for the tea is on the Oasis notice board for everyone to volunteer some food or drink for the afternoon.  Help is also needed on the day to set up for the CF tea, but more importantly to help serve and clear away.

A very big thank you to all those who helped to make the Christmas Fayre such a successful and happy occasion. Our total was £1413.70. The surplus items from the fayre will be distributed to other charities. Many thanks – Audrey and Janet

Karen would like to thank you everyone for their support at the Supper Quiz. A wonderful total of £547.07 was raised for the Stonework Fund.
